GIZMO.... one day at the store where i was working, a customer brought in a box of kittens!! Of course, I picked up an adorable tiger kitten who immediately put his paws around my neck with a big hug, the rest is history!! It wasn't time to go home from work yet so he stayed with me until closing time..The deli usually gives me leftover chicken wings at the end of the day in a box to take home..brought a box home as usual so my husband thought I had "CHICKEN"... wrong!! to his surprise, there was a kitten inside!! They have been buddies ever since!!

Pouncer is a black and white stray cat found by my grandchidren while at their dad's construction site..Their dad is not known to love cats, but the kids spent the day playing with this kitten who was all dirty and pitiful looking..At days end they pleaded with dad and she ended up going home with them...She has turned out to be the calmest , most well adjusted cat I have ever known...She gets along great with everyone including their Shitzu "Amber".(photo below)..

"Cricket" has all of his toys in a bowl in my kitchen cupboard...He takes them out by himself every morning..(doesn't put them back though!) Half the fun is getting them!!

Rules for Cats to Live By

WILBUR..was living under the Antique Center where I help out. It was a cold January day, so brought him inside..We took him to the Vet to have him checked and he was in good shape...We also asked neighbors but no one claimed him, so of course, he has been a part of the Center ever since....again he is the sweetest cat and poses for me for photos...He greets all the customers and gets lots of attention....It turns out I have cats at home and at work,... as Martha Stewart says: "It's A Good Thing"....
