"Cubby" left us today to go to his new home...We rescued him from outside during severe thunderstorms and took care of him for a few weeks..We already have two adult male cats, Gizmo and Cricket, so agreed that he would be happier with children (he's very playful)..Cubby is strong now and a wonderful kitty..We feel good that we saved him from harm..He will be in the neighborhood with a very loving family..I plan to visit him in his new home in a few days...I.Will miss you "Cubby"...

Poem
"SPRING CLEANING" MARCH bustles in on windy feet and sweeps my doorstop and my street. She washes and cleans with pounding rains, scrubbing the earth of winter stains. She shakes the grime from carpet green, Til naught but fresh new blades are seen, Then, house in order, all neat as a pin, she ushers gentle springtime in..

What is a Cat?
Gentle eyes... that see so much... paws that have... the quiet touch... Purrs to signal... "all is well"... and show more love... than words can tell... Graceful movements... touched with pride,... a calming presence... by our side... A friendship... that will last and grow-small wonder why we love them so.
